London-born director Cassidy Burcher began his filmmaking journey at 19 in a make-shift film studio he built in an old garage. Returning to London he cut his teeth at legendary production house Rattling Stick and soon began directing promos for world-renowned nightlife mecca Fabric’s in-house label Houndstooth, where he made a name for himself with his passion for weaving highly detailed, visually inventive narratives.

Cassidy’s breakthrough commercial project, a popular film announcing the ingenuity of the new Honda HR-V, was released to critical acclaim, earning him Gold for Best New Director at the British Arrows Craft Awards. He's gone on to direct work for Skoda, Ballantine's, Sony and Rolls-Royce to name a few.

His latest promo for electronic duo Gorgon City made Promonews' Music Videos of the Month list and was awarded a spot in the official selection for the Berlin MVAs.
